Zelda......orcarina of time?

What? Zelda: ocarina of time, now? Well yes, before i review the new one Zelda: twilight princess (still have yet to beat) I am going to review the old games leading up to the new. This game is one of the best from the series. It's starts out with your beloved character, Link, sleeping in his tree in Kokiri village. When a fairy named Navi comes to you and wakes you up (ugh, she can get annoying when you want to do side quest in between finding temples. All she says is "HEY!!!") Then you will find out you have to go to the Deku tree and help him. That's when you get a sword and wooden shield. Later you will find your self out in hyrule field running to the castle and the story goes on from there. The game play in this is good for it's time and still playable today, (pretty much when I'm bored and have no new games I go back to it). The developers made it even more playable by adding side quest that last awhile. Now the graphics aren't the best in the world, but still pretty good. The sound in this is great, it's great because it's composed by Koji Kondo and it's remember able. "do do do do do doo do doloo doloo dodo dodo doo doooo." Yeah try and sing out that. So if you still have your N64 and you don't have this "where have you been for your whole life" and "I recommend this". I give this a 7.5!

Resident Evil 4

Here's one for all the horror game fans. Now back in the old resident evil’s it had the all time favorite monster ZOMBIES, this time they switched it up by having something similar to zombies. They now have eggs, first the bad guy infects the villagers from the rural villages of Spain with this plagues to protect this “cult” from any… intruders. The reason why the don’t wont anyone getting in is they have the presidents daughter, you play as Leon Kennedy trying to save her. The game play in this has changed from the old games. Now you don’t have to deal with the crappy camera angles that you can’t move, and you have an over shoulder view for a better shot. You can get some sweet guns in this game such as the regular hand gun, to one of my favorites the riot gun, and of coarse everyone’s favorite the rocket launcher. The enemy’s you fight are smarter and stronger then old resident evil games, they have certain spots where you can hit them and they will react differently, aiming for the head is a defendant! There is no multiplayer, sadly, but when you beat the game you will be able to play a game called “mercenaries”. No it’s not that game, it’s a mini game where you are in a small map where villagers and others attack you for as long as you can last or until time runs out. You also get a chance to try the story on pro; I’m still trying to get past it. The graphics are great and the cut scenes are awesome, since during the cut scenes you must have your hands on the controller otherwise you might die. Overall this game was good and I would give it a 9.

Time Splitters: Fucture Perfect

This is one of my favorite games. The game play in this is great; you would want to play it over. There are over 100 unlockable characters; if you have played the old games you would recognize some of them. The greatest part I would say is the mapmaker. You can create your own map and have friends play it and laugh at them for fucking up. (Side note, I do swear) The only problem is that it is easy to lose what you are doing and if you mess up on logic you have to fix it till you can play the map without any problems. The controls are easy, but it does take awhile to know what you’re doing. The story is good and makes since when you finish the game. They could work on the dialogue a bit more, but other then that it’s great. Multiplayer is a big thing with me and they made me happy. Lets say for instance you are all alone at home, you have good games but you want to play time splitters and you already beat the game on easy, normal, and hard, well why not play multiplayer. What’s that, you don’t have anyone with you at all? Well guess what, you can play with bots, that’s right lonely gamers you can play with someone other then yourself. So overall I would say this is a great game. I would give it an 8.5!
